inteRAD's Web Publishing Platform

Because most popular Web Hosting Platforms were designed for a world in which web sites comprised static pages, Hosting Service Providers wishing to offer dynamic business services face significant problems to guarantee service up-time and manage site data security within manageable service cost budgets.

inteRAD invented InteRAD's WPP to empower content creators to create and maintain web sites without technical knowledge or assistance, to fully automate the management of hosting platforms delivering dynamic business services, and to add enhanced layers of security to allow hosts to offer editing access and dynamic services with complete confidence.

Wholly written in Java, and using a MySQL back end database, the software is now ready for licensing to Internet Service Providers and Web Hosting Providers globally for operation from their own servers.

InteRAD's WPP's key strength is its powerful "what you see is what you get" text editor.

As well as supporting text color selection, font selection and sizing, and font effects (bold, italic, underline), the editor supports insertion of bookmarks, links both within the site and externally, insertion of background color or image, insertion and positioning of graphics anywhere in the page, graphics sizing by dragging handles, and much more!

As a web service offering, InteRAD's WPP removes the need for client software, thus removing the costs and problems of updates. It delivers a continuing revenue stream to licensees via a "pay as you use" model, or can be offered as a free benefit to encourage bandwidth sales. Users enjoy the advantage that the service is accessible from any connected computer, anywhere, anytime - just by using a password to effect a secure log on.

InteRAD's WPP incorporates advanced page and site management features, including automated file uploading. No knowledge of communication protocols is necessary, as users edit their site live in real time.

A vast selection of optional features can be automatically added to sites, including chat rooms, forums, event calendar, download page, photo gallery, feedback page, frequently asked questions page, and even a fully functional and readily customized eStore.

Security is delivered via the use of a database to accept user data, and the automated re-generation of the site from the database at every logon. The database can be duplicated to the site owner's local hard disk by way of backup.

Free Form Page Content Design 

A unique design feature of the inteRAD system offers complete flexibility in designing the layout of the page content area.  Using dynamic content management, as opposed to a templated system, ensures site owners have complete control over the layout of the content area of their site pages.  Images, text, and tables can be placed anywhere on the page. Complex page layouts are easily accomplished with a powerful, yet easy to use table editor.  Even dynamic forms can be easily incorporated to any page layout using a simple menu-driven form creator.

While selecting the blank layout option when adding a new page allows free form content area design, customers often appreciate a little help achieving the desired page layout.  inteRAD's Web Publishing Platform has been designed to incorporate a range of popular pre-designed page layout templates. This range can be easily expanded by the system administrator, giving hosts the flexibility to differentiate their offering by adding new page layout designs.

Our research indicates that most customers prefer to have their site template custom designed to suit their business image.   As the service supplier, you are able to add as many templates to the library of professionally designed standard templates as you wish.  Any standard HTML template can be added to our site editor with ease by anyone with reasonable familiarity with HTML codes. Alternately, you can offer web developers the flexibility to design and implement custom templates for site owners. Those familiar with HTML can readily create and slice a graphic template using popular image editing tools, and use the stylesheet customization tool to tailor the stylesheet to suit.
